Bible Reading Isaiah 46 – 48

Today’s Bible reading on A Jesus Moment is Isaiah chapters 46 through 48. Today I will be thinking about this verse:

Isaiah 48:12-13 (New International Version)
12 “Listen to me, O Jacob,
Israel, whom I have called:
I am he;
I am the first and I am the last.

13 My own hand laid the foundations of the earth,
and my right hand spread out the heavens;
when I summon them,
they all stand up together.

It reminds me of one of my favorite verses in the Book of John:

John 1:1 (New International Version)
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

I am always in awe that the God who created everything and place the stars in the sky has gone out of His way to make it possible for me to be in relationship with Him now and forever.
