Morning Reflection – April 14 2012
Here at a Jesus Moment we want to encourage you to be thankful and blessed. The writer of the book of Hebrews gives us some great advice in Hebrews 12:2-3:
“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”
Life can be hard, and if our focus is not on Jesus, it is easy to allow the difficulties of life to cause us to grow weary and lose heart. But when we stop and consider all that He did for us and continues to do, the struggles we face in this life become less overwhelming. Keep your eyes on Him today and run your race well.
We are including for you below our Disciple’s Heart Primer that you can use as a devotional each day to help you get your heart primed to follow Jesus.
Take a few more minutes and read the Daily Bible Reading for the day. It will bless and encourage you throughout the day.
“May the Lord bless and keep you; may His face shine upon you; may He be gracious to you and give you peace”.
