What is Wrong with This Picture
What picture? OK, here is the deal. I am working in my office and I am multi-tasking as most of us do. Two of the projects I have going on require that I upload some videos to the Internet. This is taking a lot longer than I thought it would, and it is slowing down my computers a little bit. That’s right, computers, I have two computers side by side in my office and I am working on both of them. Here is where the picture goes wrong. I spent the last fifteen minutes seriously considering my need to add a third computer to the mix. Then, I realized that what I needed to do was to call it a day and go home because I must be losing my mind.
Do you remember working before there was personal computers and cell phones? Do you remember your first computer? How about your first cell phone? I can even remember hooking into “Compuserve” with a Radio Shack color computer in 1982. I don’t remember being able to do much, but I remember going on line. How many of you even remember “Compuserve”? I am going home to play a little guitar and read a little Bible, both of which can be done without being plugged into anything and hopefully experience a Jesus moment or two.
