I was in Winn Dixie yesterday and a woman came up to me and said “Hey, I am one of two”. She was referring to my sermon last weekend where I was talking about the impact that the first church in Jerusalem had on the city. When the church celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary, they had about 100,000 members. The population at the time was about 200,000 people. Half of the population had been impacted for the Kingdom of God. One of my favorite verses that records the growth of the first church is Acts 5:28:

“You have filled Jerusalem with your teaching..”

This accusation came from the Sanhedrin who were not happy with what was happening. I am praying for the day when the critics of the church in this area are saying “you have filled the Keys with your teachings”, because so many people are coming to the Lord. Whenever I think and pray about this, I have a Jesus Moment. Let us all pray to impact our cities for God so that many will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
